What happened to Eutychus while he listened to Paul preach?
 | He had a vision of Jesus Christ at the right hand of God. |
| He was overcome by the Spirit and began speaking in tongues. Tongues of flame were seen over him, and those from other nations heard him speak in their native language. |
| He fell asleep, and then fell out a window and died. But Paul brought him back up, and after praying over him the boy came back to life.  |
And in a window sat a certain young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep. He was overcome by sleep; and as Paul continued speaking, he fell down from the third story and was taken up dead.
